I really disagree with that

Barry is top-class. AND - an important and - he's the missing piece who's meant that Lampard and Gerrard can play together. (Remember when that was the huge issue? Hasn't been one at all throughout this qualifying campaign, and that's because Barry holds the midfield together and lets them play.)

I thought he was good last night, too, altho recognise it wasn't that hard. For example I think his was the (excellent) ball that set Agbonlahor free for the first goal? More generally, his composure in the middle - and his pressure when the opponents have the ball - makes a huge difference to us.
