Confession: I killed a dog.
Well, while we?re on the subject, some years ago I was at a girlfriends parents for the first time for Sunday lunch.
Sitting in the garden afterwards eating a chocolate feast, the top of the ice cream fell to the floor and was quickly devoured by their dog (which had colitis). I said nothing and left soon afterwards.
Imagine my horror when I found out a few days later that the dog had began to be sick, was taken to the vets on the Monday and put down as they thought it had taken a turn for the worse!!!
I like to think I put it out of its misery!!!
