My mate, Steve, who lives in Middlesbrough came down for

the match in 1992. He stood near a hooge roundabout outside Middlesbrough for about 2 hours and was just about to jack it in when a bloke picked him up. Not only was the bloke going south, he was actually going to Norwich.

When they got to Norwich the bloke asked Steve where he wanted to be dropped off and he said "Hill Street" - the bloke laughed his head off. Steve was staying with me at 21 and the bloke was visiting friends at number 23.

What about that f**ker?

I had to drive him round all the pubs with money quiz machines the day after the match - he won a million pounds so he could get a train home.
