i was at my cousin's funeral

the undertakers told us all where to stand and guided us through the whole thing making sure they didn't end up with a small one paired with a tall one at the back

even though i'd never actually met my cousin coming just a month after my dad's funeral i was still very raw from that and it brought back a hell of a lot of memories

i felt honoured to be asked and glad to have accepted, it made me feel useful and less of a spare part and the worry i did beforehand helped me not dwell having so recently buried my dad
