it's the very worst of the american dream encapsulated in one tiny gadget designed specifically for the "me" culture. Eventually we will all live in rather un-splendid isolation, no shops except online, no inter-reaction between humans except via the internet, no real communities. Just selfish greedy people in virtual gated communities.

Of course that won't happen as the real have-nots, the one's that can't afford it, will rise up and kill the fat capitalist pigs in their sleep by bashing them over the head with their offensive iPhonage.
