I like him but he's definitely a Roeder type manager but with a bit more credibility
The good thing about last night it highlighted even further the need for 3 things.
1. A decent pacey, goal scorer to play with Holt (We need someone with pace and anticipation to benefit the good work Holt does)
2. A decent right winger with pace - Mcnamee would be perfect.
3. A CM back up for Stephen Hughes. Someone who can pick the ball up from defence and get it moving quickly.
It also highlighted that:
1. Adeyemi/Smith partnership is not there yet, Adeyemi is not ready to step up, but will be a good player for us next season
2. Luke Daley isn't good enough, now or in the future.
3. Drury actually looked much improved until he got injured and Semi seems to be a different player since Lambert took over
4. Wes needs to go or play, doing neither isn't helping anyone, if he had come on for Hughes yesterday, we may have had a different result
