Huckerby was full or it, promise was coming out Martin

Players like Fotheringham were settling in, whilst others (Earnshaw, Etuhu, Safri) were solid in midfield

Some good times rolled, and the next season looked like things could happen

Then bang, Safri out, release clauses activated, Martin decided to jeopardise his career by being a knob. Fotheringham injured, new signings not very good

Went from stable and going forward, to shudderingly worrying in the space of a pre season
