just shuffled too many times - so not really any individual's fault. On the positive you could see the 'keep the shape' training was having some effect as they were determined to hold a position - just that no-one was really in the right place.

I also have to say that without being a particular fan of Cureton playing him off Holt seemed to work better than the not quite a 4-5-1 formation seemed to yield. Daley obviously worries defences with speed but there doesn't look to be much beyond that.

And Smith needs a Hughes with him. Unfortunately I don't think either Gill or Tudur-Jones give that option - I know they're injured now but I think that was a lucky escape from being axed.

But as I said good tactics by Ince to ensure that we did lose the shape early one.
