Funny how women's tennis has made it as a very popular sport

Any man in the top 200 could thrash any of the women, maybe going even further down than that. Yet women's tennis gets huge TV audiences.

Maybe the point about tennis is that any of the top women would absolutely massacre any man who plays at any level below world rankings. So their tennis is still pretty damn good. Whereas when you watch the England women play football you think "I reckon [insert name of a really crap men's team] would give this lot a fair go"
