...that I don't know my football, in what came across as highly patronising.
I deliberately started my post with a comment clearly showing that I rate what he has done for us in the PAST, and then made a specific comment to LAST NIGHT'S GAME and how poor he was.
Where IN LAST NIGHT'S GAME did Heskey provide this class act? He was appalling and there's no getting away from it. He didn't provide a big foil for his goal-scoring partner. He lumbered about, fell over, got in the way, was slow to react, got caught offside and wasted two gilt-edged chances. Wonderful stuff. He didn't provide any of the final balls for any of the goals either.
