How exactly do 2 fat fans running on to the pitch increase policing costs?

This pretty much sums up the clubs respect for it's fans when they feel they have to justify their decision by making up excuses.

Do they now have to pay for a crack team of anti terrorism police to guard the players tunnel in case of suicide ticket throwers?

If they want to ban these two fans then they should just do it but not try and justify their decision by spinning lies to try and gain some sympathy.

It cost the club far more than a significant 5 figure sum to appoint Gunn, let him sign 12 players then sack him after 2 games.

Every contestable decision they make comes with the obligatory raft of implausible excuses.
