They must be taking the piss!

I am sorry but if Lambert learnt one thing from last night it would be that we need a new centre back! Doherty was absolute crap all night; he did one good thing which was to shrug Carlos Edwards (I think) off the ball after about 12 minutes.

After that he fell over, tried to foul rather than tackle, distributed the ball into the stand or out for a goal kick to the opposition. I am hoping Lambert will be the first Norwich manager in 6 to actually drop this guy. I dont know who would but him, he is a laughig stock of a player...he really is. Mainly because every time we are on TV he either gets sent off or makes an horrific mistake!

I think Askou looks good (he has made the odd mistake too) but looks generally assured. Spillane has potential but still learning, and perhaps Nelson should be given another chance against his old club Saturday...but of not the centre back position needs looking at.
