I don't think even they LIKED Roeder

Does seem to be a bit of a head of steam building up behind the idea that we should have an experienced hard case. But that was Roeder, and that didn't work either.

I honestly don't know what qualities the next manager should possess, other than "not being Bruce Rioch".
