(though walking across the village green where all the older boys are playing sports he know enough to say that he doesn't like cricket, he likes football)

he's going to really hate me for what i intend to put him through...

i took the opportunity to sit in the City stand yesterday, just because i'd never sat there before. end of the match some fans actually clapped our players off. not a slow sarcastic clap, a full-on proper clap. there was more clapping of the Colchester players going off. unbe-f**king-lievable.

running Gunny's programme notes from yesterday, we actually went to Newcastle to see how to run a football club, proper oak f**king doors.
