The problem with hoolahan is..........
you almost have to set up your whole team around him.
The good news is I think we have done that.
I think a player like McDonald with thrive from clever passes in behind the defence.
I think one of the benefits of having a bigger squad than we have had in a long time (espcially if we add Maric and Askou) is that we are able to set up different things if he goes down injured or loses form.
BUT....... if we were to sign a certain San Jose player it would make a perfect backup/sub for the free roaming position.
I will suggest the reason he is looking so good is that we seem to have a very solid looking squad at the back and in the middle.
I can see unsophisticated LG 1 sides hacking the piss out of him to stop us playing.
Now that might be a good thing as with the squads new found physical presence we should be much more dangerous from set pieces.
We should be able to send 5-6 big guys in at every throw and set piece.

- You'll slate me for this but I honestly think he'd easily make step up to Prem. (n/m) (NCFC) - BINMEN8R, Jul 28, 22:36:56
- he might do better in the prem as he'd have more protection from refs (n/m) (NCFC) - Worzel Scrimmage, Jul 28, 22:52:57
