And to what extent is 'unbalanced' a euphemism for 'short of strikers'? Cos I think everyone except Selwyn accepts we are gonna get one or two strikers in.

I guess your point is that the 7 or 8 midfielders we're gonna go into the season with is 1 or 2 too many.

Possibly, but its not that bad. Not a reason to automatically write off the season at this point. (Not, I should say, that I'm particularly optimistic, either.)
