We really do seem to be following the pattern of previous seasons of spunking the playing budget on uninspiring players - one of whom appears to be on ridiculous wages (even if ?7000 isn't correct wouldn't even 4 or 5 grand would be a lot for Div 3? Thus I assume other senior players such as Cureton, Clingan, Semi, Doh and Hoolahan will be on similar or even more). Arguably that shows the much talked about ambition; but it hasn't really done us much good over the last few seasons.
