None of the youth players we've released in the last 5 years have gone on to better things have they?

You could have the best facilities in the world, but if the players aren't good enough, then they're not good enough. We are also hampered a lot by our location (neither of the two youth team products in our first team come from the local area). Ipswich do produce players, but they do have the extra advantage of pulling players from Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and other surrounding areas.

Perhaps there are other problems, but this does not help. David Williams is a great coach though, so hopefully he will help in the future.
