One day someone came up to me as I was standing in the yard, filthy and dishevelled from sorting out the scrap pallets (I dunno who it is but someone insists on scrapping perfectly good pallets just cos they're a bit dirty, presumably because the scrap pile is about 40 yds nearer than the Stock Pallets piles).

He says "Why're you doing that, that's what assistants are for"
I said "Do you know how many e-mails I've received while I've been out here?"
"No" he says.
"And neither do I", I replied.
