I know the answer to this as went on a Child Protection course at Norfolk FA

a few months ago. There is no age limit, but, and its a big but, it is when felt the child is of a right age to be safely left on their own.

So its left open to the adult to be responsible and safe in their own mind that it is ok to leave their child on their own.

If going away on holiday or weekend etc (ie overnight), this would not be allowed for under 16s.
