Don't know much about TV programme/film downloads
but I think it's more of a rental basis rather than full ownership. Read those T&Cs carefully I guess. Dunno about FOTC; but a lot of TV stuff is freely available through iPlayer and I think Channel 4 have something similar. In the UK anyway.
