I bought my first ever Apple product (with a very heavy heart) on Friday
went back to my parents this weekend and when I plugged it in to the PC and all the songs from Windows Media Library started to transfer into itunes automatically - then you just sync the ipod to itunes. So depending on where you store your music currently but it should transfer onto there once you set up your ipod and itunes. I hate apple but i'm impressed with my ipod so far (not massively) but enough to justify the ?175 I paid.
