i can completely understand people wanting to take what is rightfully theirs back from the club, regardless of their reasoning, be that needing the money in these difficult economic times; a simple dislike of paying so much money for an inferior product; the chance to show the board that they have little to no faith in how the money will be spent (fungiality or no fungiality).

i see nothing wrong with the board trying to get as big a pot of money as possible for next season though.

that's not to say they couldn't have gone about this whole 'please let us keep hold of your money' business in a much better way, but in order to get this club out of the 3rd division in the right way i'm not going to criticise them for the actual act of asking.

anyhoo, it's late and i have no rebate to consider!

but don't be getting youself too tied up on the Pink 'un or their rumors... :-P
