I'd say the club depriving its supporters of revenue they're entitled to

Is spiteful, and dangerous in these economic times. If they can't afford to give the rebate back, why offer it in the first place? Oh yes: it was to take the fans for a bunch of chumps yet again. And then, unbelievably, to use emotional blackmail and not even write to all those entitled to their money back.

If any business anywhere offers you something, and if a contract or equivalent is entered into, I take it you just sit and smile if what you've bought doesn't appear? As an absolute bare minimum, the club should've contacted every ST holder and explained the situation: instead, they've displayed pure moral cowardice.
