Depends entirely on whether the new manager really was happy or not

The better qualified a candidate, the more likely it is they don't really NEED the job so are in a better position to bargain and say exactly what they want. I appreciate it's difficult - but hope to goodness Crook and Butterworth were put on the same short term contracts as Gunn. If not, the board need their heads read.
