in defence of Carney - he was on the wrong SIDE OF THE PITCH

he should have been on the left wing. I accept that he tended to bottle it occasionally. But I thought Gow was worse, trotting round in a daze. Again, he was in the wrong position - he's crap out wide, doesn't stay there, and leaves a big hole behind.

The effort was there, but the team was poorly set up, and the nerves got to them. "Quality" - what is it? Lee, Gow, Clingan, Russell, are all good enough to be pretty good CCC players. The lack of quality is about the team, not the individuals, in this case and the management and coaching has to be questioned.
