He'll answer along these lines:- (it's a long one - oo-er missus)
1 (a & b) You don't choose to go into administration, you go in because you can't pay your bills. With the way our debt is structured, loyal support, 1700 season ticket sold etc etc.
2 Because when the loan was arranged that was a precondition.
3 No-one has ever put a value on the club. (although they sort of did and it was on the official website)
4 Peter Cullum never made an offer for the club. We are actively seeking iovestment (Keith Harris and Orville).
1st 5 see 4
2nd 5 - planned for, budgeted for, financial reality, cold wind blowing through football etc etc
6 Couldn't afford the quality of payer on perms, loans give us the option quickly reducing wage bill.
7 Backed the manager, blah blah, prudence with ambition blah blah. Its in the top ten of wage bills.
8 We saw an opportunity for the busiess to be grown by people with more experience in that field, still hld a stake blah blah.
9 We contiue to benefit from the hotel, long term, fiancial health blah blah
10 Regret, but backed managers decisions, hindsight nasty man but it's not my fault.
11 Collective responsibility, unfair due to their commitment to the club, poor millionairres. Backed the manager, funds, prudence with ambition. Managers fault.
12 No crystal ball, prudence, firm financial footing, back manager, great team with Bryan Gunn etc etc
13 Hindsight, backed managers, our job to run the club, his job to run the footballing side. If we interfered would be uproar etc etc. Not our fault, no crystal ball in football.
14 Supporters own the club, we are custodians, robust markleting policies, increased season ticket sales, including kids for a quid, community, tickets are availble, season ticket buy back, blah blah.
15 Budget within our means prudence with ambition, back the manager, not rich millionaires, rely on directors putting money in, financial climate, blah blah.
16 Loan players care, have been effective, understand, prefer own players, wage bill, flexibility blah blah
Chuck in a few robusts, unhelpfuls, wide of the marks and misconceptions and that'll be it.
