Glenn was given a budget to work with, the board did not refuse him to sign anyone, they give him the budget and said this is what you are going to work with.

The reason the crowd fell out with Roeder was a personal thing and most couldn't wait for results to go tits up so they could get him the sack. The Hucks disaster, the patronising of the fans, the whispers of players hating him all contributed to his downfall.If the failure to sign a powerfull striker added to this then I do not hold the board responsible for that but Roeder himself.
