Even when that did happen

I can't help but think we'd adjust to the ratio that happens

Knowing us, we'd probably reduce the prices to ?10-?15, whilst other clubs keep it the same, and then go on about how skint we are

Whilst other clubs just carry on signing players, and keep prices at ?20-?25, and get on with it

This board has had a long time to prove this strategy they have, and in that long time, they don't have a lot to show for this failing, apart from a full stadium every week, a team that largely is borrowed, and in current status, is year on year teetering on relegation

That's why I'm not filled with joy about Lee coming today, because 4 years ago, he was available for 100k, but we decided of cardiffs troubles at the time, we'd go for a 33 year old on a free instead of paying that 100k

That's my frustration with this club, missed opportunities, and often, and wasted opportunities, often (ie Cureton, whatever we paid for him)

We do it to ourselves so often, that's why it hurts

It's obvious I like A Lee, otto will vouch for it, but I wished we could have had an affordable player when he was at his best (yet he was at his best when a club who couldn't afford to do anything, bought him. This is why I don't buy this we can't afford this that and the other, it's just a poor excuse for failing)
