What I'd like to know is the following:

Who makes the decisions at the beeb on who would make a good presenter/football pundit?

MOTD is getting almost unbearable with Alan Shearer on it, he is totally and utterly incompentant, the least charasmatic panalist ever and never makes any interesting analytical comments. He is the worst and I'm the worst, pundit ever. Worse than Lawro, difficult but true, worse than Gavin Peacock, close but true. He makes Jaime Redknapp look knowledgable and articulate, which is like turning water into wine. I just hope he becomes Newcastle manager, not because I think he'd be a good manager, just to get him off motd.

In fact he's so bad he deserves his own 606 slot to go with the likes of Spoony 'I know absolutely nothing about football' McSpoony and even worse Tim 'I know even less than Spoony but at least Spoony knows a little about the team he supports unlike me' Lovejoy both of which have the charisma of a peeled onion.

I'm just so glad Danny Baker is back on 606, his Tuesday night shows are brilliant.

Am I in a minority here?
