Norfolk Lounge after Plymouth - Player impressions

Managed to sneak into the Norfolk Lounge after the game on Satdee. Met some of the players along with Delia, Gunny and Gossy. Here are some snippets.

The Doc - Top bloke. Always likes to chat. Glad he is captain. Told him he should be player of the year. He knew it.

Wes - Hobbling in a plastic boot. Could not understand a word he said but he seemed chirpy.

Rusty - very very pissed off. He said he had just got match fit and back in the side and now a red card. Felt for him a bit. Not a happy chap.

Sammy C - nice chap. Seemed convinced we could stay up. Again - thick accent (NI obviously) but managed to understand what he was on about.

Semi - totally forgot he was a scouser. Calm down Calm down. I said I enjoyed his weaving run past 5 players - he said he can't shoot though !
I also told him he has plenty of support and to ignore the canary call idiots.

Cody - seems to have his feet on the ground. Said it was amazing to score in front of 24000 against Cardiff. Bit different to 1800 at Dartford. He has a very chavvy CM tattooed on his neck but we'll forgive him.

Marshall - very chatty. Happy to talk to all the fans. He was the one I was most impressed with in terms of what he said. very positive outlook. He said he got on with Roeder whilst many did not.

Lappin - looked quite down. Said he almost got on today. To be honest i have forgotten what he is like as a player.

Shaks - I said "Whats it like to be back". He said "It doesn't seem like I ever left".

Crofty - life and soul of the squad. that is obvious.
Didn't speak to him as he was always surrounded by fans but he seemed to be pleased with another POTM.
