So, Cureton and Fozzy are the scapegoats...

...and I'm not trying to defend them. Cureton has missed too many chances and Fotheringham is not a leader and not playing well. But what about the other players?

Marshall - Incapable of commanding his area, no urgency, lots of costly errors in recent weeks.

Semi - bloody awful. Does the man even have a brain? Cant defend, backs off his man constantly. Has the pace to cause serious damage going forward but never uses it.

Hoolahan - For all his industry what has he actually contributed on a regular basis. Goals? 2. Asists.....erm, not many. He has no real influence on the team and is endlessly giving the ball away.

Croft - Right, you cannot fault the guys efforts. Works hard, will run all day, and he really cares. But he is a winger and does not do his job, which is deliver quality balls into the box. So really, what is the point of him playing?

We have no matchwinners in the squad. Nobody who when they pick up the ball the crowd get excited and believe will create something. Where are the new heroes? The real hero, our one inspiration is playing in the MLS.

This Club is in a mess. But what is a petition against the board going to do at this time? It is a time for the Club to unite as one - but the fans are dragging this Club into despair just as much as the management, the board and the players.

Best fans in the world? My arse. I'd rather have 2,000 loyal fans who get behind the team rather than the majority of the 24,000 morons who turn up each week.

I just despair, I really do.
