Cody Macdonald - good news if he is about to sign

I know he's only non-league and some may say its us taking a cheap option but for me this is the type of signing I would like to see us make more of. The lad has pace, seems to know where the goal is and will be keen to take the chance of a lifetime. Hopefully if given time will make the grade and turn out to be a great buy. If he does then we will have an asset that may be worth a lot more money. If he doesn't then we won't have wasted a lot of money!

One thing though we will have to be patient with him. From what I can gather he's been part time up until now and whilst if he signs i'm sure he will get a chance in the first team at some point it may well be next season before we see him really up to speed and starting to make an impact!
