The Panorama debate below

Reading the debate below about it being a damp squib or whether there is much more evidence they couldn't show I firmly believe its the latter.

They had clearly had to beep out or edit out passages, probably as a result of lawyers getting injunctions to stop them broadcasting it and there is probably also a lot more they held back as if they broadcasted it all on national TV it would then be virtually impossible for any of the managers in question to get a fair hearing if action is taken against them.

For what its worth Alladyce is clearly up to his eyeballs ion it and that for me was interesting because i've long wondered how Bolton seem to manage to bring in a stream of big name players and other foreign players on free transfers every season. The answer is obviously (alledgedly) because they have the agents in their pocket and therefore have been getting firts refusal on lots of the players in question. In my view they have benefitted for a few seasons from this and I hope this programme now starts to hasten their decline!

Chelsea should also get done for the youth team player as well.

The Redknapp stuff was weak - he simply said if he was available he would take him which does not amount to tapping up in my book. probably too streetwise to get caught out with something like that is old Harry.

The most interesting one was the manager who called off at the last minute. i got the impression that was quite a big club. Couldn't make out if the blurred out street scenes and stadiums were subtle clues? i also thought the blurred out player they showned looked like Cafu at Roma so I guess if you can work out who he was on the verge of joining last summer then that may give you the answer!
