I agree with your point about Cotterill

Worthington couldnt do nothing about it, and imo it would have been silly to kick up a big fuss about it (no matter how annoying it was to see us lose him)

But i just cant see why we're worried about 'pestering' teams like Southend, just incase one day, they might want to sell a player we like, such as Eastwood.

I wouldnt have thought clubs think like that... after all, Munby came out saying that West Ham were being naughty about paying the Ashton 'Euro' clause, yet 2 weeks later we sold them Green.

I personally think, If there is a figure on the table that they feel is acceptable, a team will accept it.
