Some might suggest tha the chances of him playing Premiership football with us are somewhat remote.

Some may also suggest that the chances of us being promoted and staying there - like Wigan - are non-existent.

Using this 'bigger club' premise, I therefore presume others would have been ok with him turning us down for Nottingham Forest or Sheffield Wednesday.
