i think it could work

self-moderating, like wikipedia. most people who are petty enough to click on decent posts for no reason probably wouldn't filter the board anyway, so they'd have less motivation to f**k things up.

ben (and even a few sensible types - like Selwyn) could keep an eye on it and warn people who abuse it.
