Like I say - I dont quite see the point in this line of attack though

I agree with him in this case - you are allowed to have opinions that are proven to be wrong.

A la Beckham being washed up, 'proven' by the fact he plays in the states, only to find he has actually played all but 10 mins for his new club - one of the top 5 in Europe.

This could be seen as a dig as well, im sure, but its not - its just opinions.
