Roeder didn't know Huckerby was injured - it's on the record

and if he'd seen Hux perform in training, and knew (as everyone did) what Hux was capable of, he would have to play him in the hope that he would produce what he's capable of. But he hardly ever did. Then Hux "revealed" that he'd been injured.
