I agree with C21 below - I never lost my Club

and yesterday's game must be seen as a pure one-off, just like the derby game. And, really, the first half was as s**t as almost any game under Roeder. It was a one-off game for the crowd as well. I wouldn't be too optimistic of either the players or the crowd keeping up that level of performance. So you've seen a swallow - just don't expect the summer.

A "true city man" - wtf is that? Was Wenger a true Gooner when he joined from Grampus 8 or whoever it was? I'm sure Roeder had as much a desire to do his best for the Club as anyone, which surely makes him a "true City man". Unfortunately, that didn't make up for his flaws. And to be brutally honest, you could say that anyone who's been in a senior position within the Club during the past 4 years or so has to be viewed with some scepticism. I tend to think that the last thing we need is a return to the "Costa del Colney". Roeder did a number of good things for us, and, while he himself maybe had to go, we should build on them, not lapse back into acceptance of mediocrity and underachievement. I think it was his irritation at that that got the better of Roeder, and he couldn't stop his anger showing.
