Bollocks it was. A few of us pointed out the reality of Roeder right from the start - and my reaction when I heard we'd appointed Peter Grant was "oh, for f**k's sake". No footballing expertise on that board (and no, references from Roeder's mates and a good interviewing style don't count) - and on their record, little chance of them getting it right this time either.

What should we have done when Chase was running us into the ground? Nothing? Or were you sitting in front of MOTD nodding in agreement when Des Lynam said "he's not going to sack himself, is he?" Moustachioed prick!
