I got Shilts' autograph when he was manager of Plymuff.

I went to Home Park when I was on holiday in Devon to watch Plymouth play Torquay in the 1994 Devonshire Cup. Marc Edworthy was playing. Someone kicked the ball into the crowd - I jumped up and caught it and it burst, meaning that Shilts had to spend his last tenner on a new ball.

That's my best anecdote.
