if thats the case and hughes can break up play and portect the defence - and i agree he does a reasonable job at that - then we need to get at least one midfielder in that can pass (a creative/attaching midfielder... to replace francis and mulryne). Im a safri fan but we need back-up especially as hes injury prone and i also think someone more in the francis mold would be useful - there hasnt been too much supply coming through midfield in the opening games although its improved every match. thoughts?
