and said teams have some kind of leeway on 4-5 games, and can get dispensation about dates

I didn't know that, but it makes me chuckle. I haven't looked this season, but last year, all the clubs in league one appeared to aim their lunchtime kick offs, or night games at Leeds Utd :)
