Mick Dennis has let himself down

with that article, in my opinion.

It reads to me like he knows Roeder's not going to get sacked and he desperately wants to keep in with both Roeder and the Board.

Let's be honest. If Jewell had accepted the job we (and the Board) would have been delirious. He was the number one unemployed manager at the time. Dennis is manipulating his readers by the obvious use of hindsight (regarding both Derby and the tabloid story) and whatever he says I'd take Ince anytime over Roeder.

To say we have a 'jewel' of a manger is simply garbage. Just look at his bloody record! (at all clubs not just NCFC)

It's just this sort of 'nicey nicey, rural Norfolk' crap that stops us getting a good, fiery successful manager. Oh good old Glenn, he's had some terrible problems and got some awful abuse from those nasty yobbos at West Ham so let's put up with his arrogance and tactical ineptitude and let him take us down whilst we call him a diamond!
