but GR moved to Director of Football?? It seems to me that he has made some sensible and good signings, given the budget, but the man management seemed to be best-handled by Clark (now gone obviously) and Stephenson. I don't think either Sadler or Stephenson seem ready to be full-on manager, but if we lifted Roeder away from the hands-on stuff (including the press/fan liaison and away from day-to-day player contact) I wonder if there's someone who could step in in the middle - not necessarily high-profile but just a good coach and tactician who will get the points we need. Minimises disruption but might just inject some much-needed sense, and some life!
