Happisburgh....visit ed first time yesturday...but WTF

Is up with those steps down to the coastline. It is kind of scary with the wind blowing and everything. Even my dog was thinking twice about it. Has anyone else been down/up those steps. Nice village though and good pub. (The Hill House)
