...getting invoices sorted for us is a real hassle now thanks to the new procurement system they've adopted. Luckily I've managed to get out of using it!

Not supposed to submit jobs until you get a quote through, meaning you can send a purchase order to get it back - which is fine until the job spec. or prices change at all for any reason.

That on top of the Govt.'s new idea to have all departments paying bills within ten working days to keep money moving makes it even more fun!
