He's A Typical Confidence Player

And perhaps the very epitome of one?

He proved whilst at Colchester he could get the goals if he had the service and the faith placed in him to do so. I was staggered that we didn't seem to take any interest in Imulemo when he left them, as he and JC seemed a natural pairing, however, Roeder wanted his "Prem quality players" instead, so that was that and Imulemo is now banging them in at Wolves and may be playing in the Prem next season.

But Jim is right, he is yellow and green to the core, and WANTS to play for us and do well. The Manager has treated him shabbily and continues to do so, I can't see him playing for us again and he'll be off in Jan, no doubt to be replaced by a 19 year old "beautiful mover" plucked from Middlesborough reserves instead on a six month loan.

Am sure JC can deal with stick from the terraces, all players get it, are used to it, and can deal with it-even respond to it. However, to be treated with the sort of distain he has been from the management, well, if you ain't motivated-and how many of our lot are?-then you can't perform, and the problem is self perpetuating. JC could still be a good player for us, but its not going to happen now and yes, he might end up playing in League 1, but that may well be against us next season anyway!
