It would appear that he did

I am not usually a "sack the manager" person, although I was clear that Worthy's time was up and Grant reached his own decision almost as I was about to call for his head. The thing about Roeder is that he is so arrogant he's coming out of his own arse and it's that that makes me want to see the back of him. Partnered with his obvious incompetence and appalling PR, the arrogance shoves him over the line as far as I'm concerned.

His view of supporters is absolute crap.Of course none of us would have a clue because it's not what we do, but he lives his life in a goldfish bowl, like it or lump it, and he has to understand that people have opinions and are going to voice them. It doesn't take a rocket scientist (cue Iain Dowie, no thanks!) to work out that Bell hasn't got a left foot and isn't comfortable on the left, for example, nor that stuffing the team full of loanees at least has a tendency to bringing about splits in the camp.

I also think it might be nice if he gave intelligent answers to questions. If he brings up the "i've never seen you in an England training camp" routine again, we have a stock answer. "Well, at least my names not Eileen Drewery". Some of you will remember that she's the spiritualist Hoddle wanted to take to the World Cup. And wasn't Roeder one of Hoddle's team?
